This weekend, two words; SHARON NEEDLES!

A complete and utter sweetheart, gracious (I got to gift her with a matching, heart-shaped nurse pin I made, because every doctor needs a nurse!), light-hearted, and an absolute gem! It was a honor and pleasure to meet Ms. Needles.

She was a great Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the entire cast of The Rocky Horror Show did wonderful. The acting was superb, the comedic references to RuPaul’s Drag Race were hilarious, and overall it was an experience to never forget!

The show was an excellent gift from my dear friend and I’m so glad she got to share the experience with me!

Giving off Traci Lords realness (according to Ms. Needles herself!) and getting an air kiss was a perfect way to wrap up the night!

David and I met a couple months back at Houston’s ComicPalooza, and as lovely as his art is (check out Kabuki and Echo from Dare Devil), he is equally as amazing.

An old friend of mine brought up David’s name to me years ago, saying that I reminded him a lot of David’s work, and I instantly had to look it up and see what he was talking about. As I said above, David is super talented, his use of water color and mixed media blows me away and he’s one hell of a writer.

I was very lucky to meet him at ComicPalooza and to be drawn by him. We got to catch up at Austin’s Wizard World Comic Con, where he got to show me that a couple of brush and ink drawings he did of me were now in the latest Dream Logic.

A couple of months back I got to partake in Comicpalooza with the Neko Neko Maid and Hostess Club, and while walking around with my lovely maid friends, we were approached by an Ezio cosplayer and his photographer friend who has one of the most clever ideas.
